| Summary, etc. | In questo libro, pieno di rispetto e di tenerezza per le persone con autismo, con esempi molto vividi l'autrice spiega come il differente stile di pensiero autistico influenzi l'immaginazione, la comunicazione e le relazioni, anche nella sfera sessuale e in tutti gli aspetti della vita quotidiana. Spiegando lo stile di pensiero autistico, l'autrice sottolinea la necessità di evitare un approccio sintomatico che riguarda l'autismo dall'esterno e la necessità di ricercare le cause di questi comportamenti: le difficoltà nella comunicazione, la mancanza di intuizione sociale, il pensiero differente. In breve, bisogna cercare di comprendere l'autismo dal di dentro, sforzarsi di vedere il mondo come lo vive una persona con autismo. Si rivolge a genitori, insegnanti, educatori e a chi vuole avvicinarsi a una problematica così complessa attraverso l'esperienza di una madre di un ragazzo con autismo che è al tempo stesso professionista esperta in autismo. |
